5am??? Are you kidding me? It's Saturday!

Ok I had to shut these kids down at 5 something this morning! They were in here in the living room already watching carttons! On full blast at that! I turned that thing off and told them to go back to bed... shooooooot That's what I wanted to do... So 6:30am rolls around and one of them turns the light on and Ellexy says "We got dressed for the skating rink, momma!" bahaha AT LEAST I wasn't that tired I guess... They are so crazy.

Anyway so I'm thinking maybe I will make a new dress today since we're all up early and the husband is at work today! We are going to go by the job site before we go to the skating rink.. The klids are gonna love it! I made something new the other day but I'm not too fond of the fabric.. too old timey looking.. which I like sometimes but it's also blue so...yeah.

My kiddos went back to school yesterday...

So I'm happy they went to school because they needed outta my house! but here is a conversation that Deblin (my oldest) and a little girl had at school..

So he says they were in the library reading books.. something about Zack and Cody from Disney Channel..

Deblin: Cody has a girlfriend.
Little girl: Yeah, it's Miley.
Deblin: Yeah..
Little girl: I feel like I'm your girlfriend.

What the heck?? First day of school? Come on! This girl is fast! She's moving in so quick on my little boy! I'm not ready to let him go... lol I sent him to school to get an education.. not pick up chicks! Man... I'm in trouble.. And he doesn't even know her name!

You know I had to put something on their backpacks! They were just cheap backpacks from walmart... they wanted them and I had some flame fabric so I appliqued the first letter of their names on them.

So I've been trying to do more "fancier" dresses.. The kind people would want for weddings, special occasions, pictures.. you get it. I'm not where I want to be but I will get there if I keep practicing! here are some...




Obviously it's the same dress just different color ribbon. What I did was used a crochet headband for the waist and I sewed the top bodice onto the headband and then tied the tulle strips through the holes in the headband! I think it's cool! the back ties similar to the last dress I'm gonna post. Just long satin straps that tie through the holes in the back or around the neck I suppose!

So they aren't that fancy YET..but they will be! I have to make some rough drafts before I can construct my masterpiece of course! haha I'm going to get better.. I just gotta keep on working!! I've ALWAYS loved little princess looking dresses!

I've been making these cute flip flops lately. The first pair I listed sold the next day! Fastest sell I've ever had!

They are so easy to make and turn out cute!! I just wish I would have made them earlier in the summer! I'm so slooow sometimes. I bought them early summer so I had good intentions! =D

Wow.. This place looks abandoned. Well, I didn't have internet for a while.. now I have it again for a while. lol

So, I'm thinking of making school clothes for my little girl. I'm not into boy handmade clothes. I like pretty plain things anyway.. plain tees with blue jeans is what I usually like for my boys. Anyway.. so Ellexy may start pre-k this year and I want to make some school clothes for her. I got soo much fabric to use up. Some cute stuff. I was organizing and cleaning up and found some stuff I forgot about so it's all new to me again..lol

New dress!

I wanna start working on Easter stuff for the kids... you know a dress for my beautiful girl and ties for the boys. I made them all some Valentine's Day stuff but I haven't done much of anything online lately. I try to post stuff here and there but I'm lazy I guess =) Anyway so here is my latest dress. Made it yesterday.

So I quit my job the other day... A lot has been going on in my life. The boys are about to go back to school. I wasn't looking forward to that but I think I'm starting to see the light.. lol I guess it was because I didnt get enough of them when I was working. Now I'm looking forward to free time ..well, sort of. I will still have my darling baby girl but it will be less hectic around here in the daytime. ahhh... I love not having to go to work. Maybe I can make more stuff and sell.. I doubt it.. haha I'm such a procrastinator.
